(a) Post Graduate Program in Executive Leadership [PGPEL] and

(b) Advanced Program in Executive Leadership [APEL].

First is of 11 months followed by 2 months internship. The second will have 6 months class room coaching and 3 months internship / social project / research according to the interest of students. This will be sectoral as well as function specific. Facilitating “learning” (not mere studying for exam), understanding business and entrepreneurship realities through action learning / assignments, projects, thesis, portfolios etc will be essential aspects of this advanced level coaching. Focus will be on facilitating development of applied insights in students to make them easily adapt to organizational work and quickly become “performers”. Making them competitive and competent to be employable at the earliest is the objective.

MBA Degree : While employability building, triggering entrepreneurial acumen, discipline, values, ethics and citizenship development and action / execution leadership alongside knowledge and attitudinal shift (mind re-engineering) are the focus of SCMLD efforts, we were also concerned about giving our students a high standard academic qualification as well, for their further studies and growth. For that we have now joined hands with the Indira Gandhi National Open University [IGNOU] created by an Act of Parliament and having jurisdiction all over the country and abroad. We have become a partner institution of IGNOU whose objective is to take higher education to a large number of students. We will be offering the IGNOU syllabii on a face to face mode (class room mode) to our students, alongside the Leadership Grooming process of ours. We complement IGNOU academics and IGNOU complements our grooming which is absolutely unconventional and value adding and thus students stand to benefit immensely. IGNOU MBA is a well recognized program across the globe. SCMLD processes are well accepted by the industry.

Naturally our program now will have two parallel components:

(a) The IGNOU syllabii and unit courses totaling 21 to be cleared in two+ years alongside SCMLD processes.
(b) SCMLD inputs - the habits forming and leadership grooming routines / drills, related academics and the transformational processes, for students to emerge as extra ordinary performers in organizations / own enterprises.

With the MBA degree of IGNOU, our students will be eligible for Ph.D registration, govt. / public sector jobs and also to go abroad on executive / managerial employment / work without any visa problems. IGNOU will give its degree and we our certification, to all successful students. IGNOU syllabii sufficiently take care of the conceptual and theoretical aspects of management.

Post Graduate Program in Executive Leadership

First one month will be for induction, orientation, unblocking inhibitions, removing fear & anxieties and bridging the gap - preparatory process for learning. Next two months will be for understanding business very comprehensively. We will make the students to know what is business, business plan preparation, accounting & reporting, business analysis and execution, entrepreneurship and so on. Coaching for the first trimester of IGNOU will also be done.

Personal development as an individual being, and as a professional, communication, basic maths, statistics, economics, economic environment, computer skills, public speaking, team working, analytical skills, data and information processing etc. will be components for the next 3 months or so..

Then we will go over to the basics of basic functions of business – Market Research, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, Information System, Logistics, Supply Chain, Inventory, People factor etc. – This will be for next 3 months.

The next 2 months will be for deeper understanding of one area – Marketing, Finance, HR or Manufacturing & Operations along with deeper inputs in Business Strategies and Advanced Level Computer Skills, Data Management and Analytics. In between, students will go for the 10 day vipassana camp, 3-4 days Art of Living, Factory Industry visits, out bound camps etc. During these 11 months, they will also do involve in “Action learning and Leadership”, Out of the Box thinking and action, doing mini businesses and earning, etc. Complementing all these will be our “Man Making” unique processes which every student has to go through. Before they are over to internship, there will be a 3 day transformational self discovery camp in addition to usual out bound, seminars, workshops and so on. These 11 months will be very hectic and it will change paradigms and most of them will become stronger and better. Habit patterns will also change. First 3 months at SCMLD will be very tough for the lazy, unorganized, casual and the undisciplined.

Advanced Program in Executive Leadership: For those who clear the PGPEL or Post Graduates of select streams or graduates with work experience

Here focus is on advanced level coaching / learning in a selected area - Marketing, Finance, HR or Manufacturing & Operations - with deep sectoral alignment. As per choice / interest every student can choose as to which area he / she would want to specialize. The advanced level program has lot of field assignments, library research, action learning, group studies, learning by organizing focused events followed by a 3 month business plan preparation and execution / social projects, or industry / NGO projects as per the choice of students. The focus here will be employability and entrepreneurship aligned towards the market – professionalism.
The first 11 months are for individualization aligned to business realities and developing the strength and stamina to face the business world. Lot of unlearning and demolition of negative habits will take place. The next 9 months are for professional growth.
