Students' Audit Board and its Charter

There shall be a Students' Audit Board with separate committees of its members;

• To audit the accounts of the institute to maintain it absolutely clean and in order.

• To audit implementation of all promises / processes made in the advertisements and prospectus and help the institute fulfill its commitments.

• To audit the effectiveness of the staff and faculty in implementing / executing all processes vis-a-vis their avowed intent - so that they become the custodians of the institute's values & processes.

• Academic Committee for internal quality assurance on a continuous basis and renew the processes, contents, delivery, etc.

These committees / board can periodically and formally audit the above with terms of reference and guidance from the founder director and incase of his absence, the director of the institute and report the findings to the chairman of the BOG along with the comments of the founder director and in his absence, the director of the institute.

The audit must be done to improve the system for the good of the institution and all its stake holders. The members of the Students' Board will be those students who will emerge toppers through the 360° evaluation consisting of components like CGPA, ECGPA & PEI, Integrity and Execution indices. It can also take up students' problems on a day-to-day basis with the director of the institute and suggest / find solutions. These can become part of the report to BOG, as well. The Students's Board must formally audit the accounts, processes / departments / promises / claims / implementation trimester wise and submit reports to the chairman BOG. The decision to have this Students Board and their functions were discussed and approved by the BOG in the meeting held on 1st September 2006 chaired by its chairman Shri T. N. Seshan. For committees, the Students' Board may co-opt students who are not members of the Students' Board, in consultation with the founder director and in his absence, the director. Volunteers would do a better job than appointed ones....
